everyone calls me Pika; third-year university student, desi Hindu girl, aspiring doctor and novelist, softhearted existentialist daydreamer. mind of a 99 year old grandmother and the heart of a five year old.
Cinderella’s castle, Middle-Earth, ancient duel monsters in trading cards, dreams of romance with an Indian prince. old school libraries and museums of classical art. forests and fields under an open sky. laughing children, the sound of water, the ringing of temple bells. poetry and symmetry in human relationships.
sentimental and easily moved by compassion. forever fascinated by stories of war and the beauty of the universe.
I enjoy making aesthetically pleasing graphics of visual media I find wonderful and significant; at times I will indulge in some writing about the media I feature here: thoughts and opinions, appreciation for what I’ve read and seen. I happen to be a very good listener…feel free to talk to me anytime about anything. :]
“I should like to save the Shire, if I could - though there have been times when I thought the inhabitants too stupid and dull for words, and have felt that an earthquake or an invasion of dragons might be good for them. But I don’t feel like that now. I feel that as long as the Shire lies behind, safe and comfortable, I shall find wandering more bearable: I shall know that somewhere there is a firm foothold, even if my feet cannot stand there again.”
