This blog is mostly a gallery of my childhood loves with a few other pretty puzzle pieces floating around.

BOLLYWOOD: I actually don’t like this word…but it’s hard not to use it anymore. There’s not much to say except the industry is filled to the brim with my wonderful culture and as an American-born Desi, it’s the best connection I have, aside from family of course, to India. But I feel it might be necessary to write this regarding my Bollywood graphics - I like to post pretty pictures of films/characters/actors/actresses/pairings. There are quite a few graphics on my blog with films I haven’t seen (I’m slowly remedying this) and some that I actually disliked. I respect the majority of the actors and actresses working today, love a select few, and like a number of the celebrity personas these actors carry. I honestly don’t care for their personal lives aside from the snippets they choose to share; anybody is fine by me as long as they keep up the entertainment onscreen and offscreen with their choice of attitude.

ANIME: It all started with a show called Yu-Gi-Oh! I eagerly watched Saturday mornings, unaware of the fact it wasn’t an American cartoon. When I learned what it actually was, I found FullMetal Alchemist (the first series) and started to learn more about the anime industry. I cannot stand how anime is usually characterized by generalizations and stereotypes, much like the treatment for Bollywood films. As an entertainment medium, it’s the whole package, and I’ve written up several master!posts for series I can wholeheartedly recommend to any potential audience member. As I had said for my Bollywood graphics, I like to post pretty pictures of films/shows/characters/pairings. There are quite a few graphics on my blog with anime I know about but haven’t actually seen (I’m slowly remedying this) and some that I actually disliked.

DRAMAS: I’ve only just recently been introduced to dramas, which is strange seeing as how anyone who enjoys Bollywood and anime would find it hard not to get caught up in them. I don’t have any personal favorites when it comes to dramas and their actors, as I haven’t seen enough to decide, but so far I’ve only seen gorgeous people in lovely shows.
