that Oscar vs. Filmfare awards picture…
a ceremony that prides itself on taking the presentation of cinema much more seriously than another does not make it vastly superior and more worthy of consideration. it’s just as biased, just as PR-oriented, and at least Filmfare tries to be fun. sure it fails on some counts but at least it’s not terribly self-aggrandizing? I like both...
